As papyrus fibres have different woodiness, the union of the single elements could create a slight step effect; by the floating setting a linght creaking could be heard, as typical of ancient wood floor. |

| Materials used for setting |
Both for glued floor and the floating use specific normal products for wood floor setting of the best quality. It is better to use skirting-board of appropriate thickness in order to cover the perimetral board of the floor. |

Use neutral, no foamy detersive; wash with a damp cloth; employ a soft cloth to polish (treat it like any else natural wood). |
| Specifications for the restoration |
Use a good stick with the same colours of the fibres on the scratchs fpr the retouch of the wood. |
| Aestetic characteristics |
Since papyrus fibres are manually treated with natural systems and differ each other for chromatism and woodiness, all the elements shall be different each other;for this reason the sampling and the photos are to be considered approximate and not binding. |

Shot effect, depending on the angulation and the nature of light (natural and/or artificial), comparable to the one of a Persian carpet. Oxidized: chromatic stair varying from burnt Siennato ivory; pale colour: by tones of ochre to ivory. |
